I am currently co-leading the Marine Regions Forum project, focusing on multi-stakeholder dialogue and exchange processes within and between marine regions to accelerate transformative ocean action and strengthen regional ocean governance.
Expertise: marine socio-ecology, marine ecosystem conservation, stakeholder engagement, science-policy, collaborative governance, and knowledge exchange.
Angelique is a lawyer (Seychelles and UK) and she holds an LLM in Environmental law specializing in the law of the sea and natural resources law. Also, Angelique is a trained climate change negotiator under the AOSIS Climate Change Fellowship Programme at the United Nations.

I'm an environmental analytical chemist with a special interest in microplastics pollution in East African marine waters and is currently in the final year undertaking a Ph.D. in Environmental Analytical Chemistry at Pwani University, Kilifi, Kenya, studying microplastic pollution in water, sediments and looking into possible risks of microplastics in the marine environment.
Dr. Richard Joseph Kimwaga (PhD), holds Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, M.Sc. Water Resources Engineering, M.Sc. Environmental System Analysis and PhD in Environmental Engineering. He has attended a number of professional and short courses trainings on various issues related to water resources management, sanitation management and hygiene promotion. Currently, Dr.
Rural development and marine conservation with a particular focus on community-based approaches in Madagascar/SW Indian Ocean, European overseas (Mayotte and Reunion islands), and a bit of Central Africa.
My educational background is fisheries and Aquaculture with a Master's degree in Fisheries science. My expertise is fisheries and Aquaculture value chain, with working experience of over 12 years in fisheries and management, resource monitoring, and fisheries project management. My aquaculture expertise focuses more on marine fish species while fisheries management based on both inland water and marine fisheries.
I'm a master of science student and I work about Marine Sciences. Specificaly my field work is aplied oceanology.
Francis started his career working for the French Ministry of Environment, then the World Bank headquarters in Washington D.C. at the Environment Department before becoming a consultant. He has been working for more than 20 years in providing services related to the conservation and sustainable use of natural – terrestrial, coastal and marine – resources including international cooperation projects development, implementation and evaluation worldwide.
