The Contracting Parties to the Nairobi Convention implemented the FFEM and OFB-funded NOCAMO Project to support sustainable development in the Northern Mozambique Channel (NMC) through Integrated Ocean Management. The project aims to preserve marine ecosystem health as a foundation for future prosperity, assisting Tanzania, Mozambique, Madagascar, and Comoros in achieving Sustainable Development Goal 14.
